Product Description

weberpremix hand is a cement-based ready-mix plaster designed for traditional plastering works on walls and ceilings. Its factory-controlled formulation provides a homogeneous mix, improved workability, good adhesion, and consistent application compared with conventional site-mixed plaster.

Mixing

Mix one 50 kg bag with approximately 8–9 liters of clean water manually or mechanically until a smooth and homogeneous paste is obtained.

Allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes before application.

Surface Preparation

The substrate must be:

• Clean and sound

• Free from dust, oil and laitance

• Properly levelled at mould joints

For improved bonding, Weber recommends applying a suitable spatter-dash key coat such as weberpremix key coat before plastering. The key coat should be dampened with clean water a few hours before applying the plaster.

Application

Apply weberpremix hand manually using a plastering trowel.

Maximum recommended thickness: approximately 15 mm per coat.

After levelling, allow the plaster to partially dry before finishing the surface using a synthetic sponge.

Consumption

Approximately:

1.7 kg/m² per 1 mm thickness

For example, at 10 mm thickness, consumption is approximately 17 kg/m², depending on substrate condition and application technique.

Curing

Protect freshly applied plaster from direct sunlight and strong wind.

Cure with clean water for at least 3 days, spraying approximately 3–4 times per day.

Storage

Store in the original unopened packaging, under cover and in dry conditions, away from moisture, extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Important Notes

• Do not apply directly over painted surfaces.

• Fair-faced concrete requires an appropriate key/rush coat before plastering.

• Protect freshly applied plaster during application and curing.

• Always prepare the substrate properly to achieve good adhesion.

Contains cement. Avoid breathing dust and avoid prolonged skin or eye contact. Wear suitable gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection during mixing and application.

The product is non-flammable.
